This notice explains clearly and honestly what information this app collects, where it is stored, who can see it, and what your rights are. Please read it before using the app.

1. What happens to your data

This app is set up to assist you schedule cart witnessing. The only information recorded is what you and other users add. If anyone adds a name apart from their own they will automatically be recorded as 'host' and anyone can delete this at any time.

2. What Information We Collect

This app collects only the minimum information needed to operate the schedule:

• The name or nickname (username) you choose to enter when you first use the app.
• Note: you don't need to use your full or legal name, whatever appropriate username you feel comfortable with is fine.
• The cart witnessing slots you sign up for (location, day, and time).
• The cart witnessing slots you host someone else (location, day, and time).
• Users may occasionally add another person to a witnessing slot with their knowledge. Because the schedule is visible to all users, any entry may be corrected or removed by the person concerned or by any other user.

The app does not collect your email address, phone number, location data, or any other personal information. It does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics tools.

3. Where Your Information Is Stored

By ticking the agreement box and using this app, you are giving your informed consent to this transfer of data. This is the lawful basis under which your data is processed.

Additionally, your username is saved locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage). This allows the app to remember you between sessions without asking for your username each time.

4. Who Can See Your Information

Your username and assignment details are visible to all other users of this app. This is the core purpose of the app — so the group can coordinate the schedule together.

No information is shared with anyone else, sold to third parties, or used for any purpose other than managing the schedule.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

Your username remains on the schedule for as long as you have active assignments. When a new week begins, completed assignments are cleared as part of the normal weekly rollover.

Your username stored on your device remains until you choose to remove it using the Forget Me option in the app, or until you clear your browser data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — know what information is held about you.
• Self Clearance — remove any records at any time.
• Erasure — have your name removed from the app and device at any time using the Forget Me button, or by asking the help of any user.
• Withdraw consent — stop using the app at any time. Use of this app is entirely voluntary.

To exercise any of these rights, you may use the controls within the app or ask any other user to help you.

7. Voluntary Use

Use of this app is entirely voluntary. It is provided as a convenience to help coordinate cart witnessing. There is no obligation to use it.

8. Security

Access to the app is protected by a shared password. The schedule is not publicly accessible. While reasonable steps are taken to keep the data secure, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, and you use the app with that understanding.

9. Children

This app is intended for use by adults (18 and over). Minors should not be added to the schedule by name. If necessary you may simply indicate that you will be with a "minor".

10. Changes to This Notice

If this notice is updated in a way that affects how your data is used, users will be informed. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Who Is Responsible For This App

This scheduling tool is provided and administered locally for the purpose of coordinating cart witnessing. It is not an official service of JW.ORG or any legal entity. Responsibility for the operation of the schedule rests with the local administrators who manage the cart witnessing arrangement. Questions can be directed to the administrators of the schedule.

While every effort is made to keep the schedule accurate, the administrators cannot guarantee that all information entered by users will always be correct. Users should confirm arrangements with one another where necessary.
